Selecting the perfect venue for your wedding can be a daunting task, and we understand that you may have numerous queries to ensure that Duncton Mill is the ideal choice for your special day. In an effort to assist you, below is a list of frequently asked questions to address any concerns you may have.
How Many Days Are Included?
You may start setting up your wedding 2 days prior to the wedding day. Everything will need to be removed from the site the day after your wedding.
Can We Have Camping?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any overnight stays at Duncton Mill. There are some fantastic hotels and campsites in the local area.
What Time Can We End?
Music and evening entertainment must stop at 11:30pm, with guests vacating the venue by 12:30am.
What's Included In The Hire?
It depends on which package you are after.
Our ceremony only package or ceremony and reception hire.

Are Dogs Allowed?
We may consider allowing a dog under certain circumstances, this can be discussed with us upon booking.
Are You A Licensed Venue?
Duncton Mill is now a fully licenced venue for legal ceremonies, however it does not hold any licenses for alcohol or live music. A Temporary Events Notice will need to be acquired before the event. It is a very simple process which we can happily assist with.
Are There Any Additional Charges?
Unlike other venues, we don't charge for anything other than the venue hire. After booking Duncton Mill, you are free to use any suppliers you wish and we will never add anything to the agreed price.
Can We Have Fireworks?
Due to Duncton Mill having a large quantity of fish in our lakes and farm, we do not permit fireworks at events. We do welcome floating lanterns and other options if requested.
Can We Use Our Own Suppliers?
​We have a marquee package for couples to help take some off the pressure off, however we want you to have everything you wish for your wedding, so we've kept some of the decision making to you, you are welcome to use any catering, entertainment, photographers and florists you wish.
Do you have electric on-site?
We do now have our own mains electric supply which can be hired at an additional cost.
